Where are you located?
We are based in South Bend, Indiana, and accept both approved drop-offs and shipped-in orders. The specific address will be provided upon purchase.How much of each element should I send?
Here are general guidelines:
Milk: About half an ounce, depending on the piece (fattier milk is preferred). Low-supply options are available.
Blood: A few drops to a tablespoon, sometimes a vial, depending on the size of the piece.
Dried Placenta: Half a tablespoon or 4-8 capsules (raw placenta requires prior approval).
Ashes: Half a tablespoon of finer dust is ideal.
Hair/Fur/Whiskers: Half an inch to an inch, kept neat and protected.
Flowers: A tablespoon of dried or pressed flowers (whole flowers must fit the piece).
Other Elements: Amount varies depending on the piece; consult us if unsure.How should elements be prepared for sending?
Milk: Heat to 5 minutes using a double boiler method (do not boil). This preserves color and prevents bacterial growth.How long do I have to send elements?
Elements must be shipped within 6 weeks. Late submissions will incur a $25 fee and be moved to the back of the queue.Do you store milk for later use?
Yes, we store leftover milk for at least two years, allowing for future orders without resending milk.Can multiple elements be included in my jewelry piece?
Yes, but excessive elements may make the piece appear cluttered. Combining untested elements may cause discoloration or other issues. Feel free to consult us about how your piece can be created.Can I order multiple items at once?
Yes! Ensure all items are clearly labeled and the order form is filled out correctly, with enough elements for each piece.What happens if I don’t like my piece?
Contact us within 3 days of receiving your item, providing photos and a description of the issue. We will review each case individually.Will I get my materials back?
We do not return most materials except for ashes. Extra milk or materials may incur an additional handling fee, though sometimes a special gift piece may be created if there’s an overpour.Can I send elements if I have a known illness?
Yes, but please do not send contaminated elements without full authorization. Contact us if you wish to discuss precautions for known illnesses.Can you make a custom piece?
Yes, we can create custom pieces tailored to your vision. Contact us to begin the process.Can you make a piece without any elements?
Yes, we offer non-DNA jewelry, including those with shimmer, sparkle, or flecks. We also make photo prints and canvases.Do you add colorants to the milk jewelry?
We do not add colorants or powders. We use a preservation method that keeps the milk's natural color and natural milk's integrity.How do I know it will be 100% my milk?
Rest assured, your piece will contain only your milk. We do not cross contaminate orders.How do you preserve your jewelry?
We use a multi-step preservation process with high-quality, eco-friendly resin, ensuring natural color retention and no. Ashes are preserved respectfully with minimal chemical treatments. We can add hair, glitters, or tints upon request.Can I buy a DIY kit?
We are currently in the production phase of our wet method DIY kits. Exercise caution when purchasing DIY kits from other sources as they often contain harmful chemicals. Do not preserve your kits without proper PPE or around your children and pets. Do NOT use your kitchen utesils for any of the perservation as you can cross contaminate things causing illness.I only have a tiny bit of an element to provide. Can I still order?
Please avoid sending the last of any elements. Discuss low-supply options with us to ensure the preservation of precious materials.Can I send my placenta if it isn’t dehydrated?
Yes, but prior approval and proper instructions are required. We reserve the right to discard improperly prepared materials.
