Size & Customization

The Hourglass stands approximately 6 inches tall and can be created using breastmilk, placenta, ash, or honey. You can also personalize the piece with tints, glitter, or a wooden base for an additional fee.

Each piece requires approximately 1 ounce of breastmilk or 4 large tablespoons of placenta or ash.

Important Disclaimer:

Though the Hourglass is a functional piece, it is not intended to accurately measure time. Newer pieces may require a “love pat” to encourage the flow of sand, especially in more humid climates. As the piece cures over time, the flow becomes more consistent. We recommend storing your Hourglass in a dry area, away from water sources or bathrooms to ensure the best flow. In more humid climates, please keep this in mind.
